Project Overview
EEPC India is the premier trade and investment promotion organization for the engineering sector in India. To boost international trade inquiries and member registrations, they required a sophisticated digital advertising strategy. Linked Builder Team was tasked with managing high-stakes PPC campaigns while simultaneously developing the technical web infrastructure needed to track, capture, and convert that traffic.
The Development & Strategy Process
Phase 1: Technical Audit & Tracking Infrastructure
Before launching a single ad, we developed the technical “eyes” of the project.
- Conversion Tracking Deployment: We developed and integrated custom event triggers using Google Tag Manager (GTM) to track specific user actions—such as membership downloads, “Trade Inquiry” form submissions, and webinar registrations.
- Pixel Integration: We hard-coded Facebook and LinkedIn Insight Tags into the site’s header to build “Lookalike Audiences,” allowing us to target international buyers similar to EEPC’s existing high-value leads.
Phase 2: High-Conversion Landing Page Development
A standard homepage is rarely the best place to send paid traffic. We developed dedicated, campaign-specific landing pages designed for one thing: Action.
- Speed Optimization: We built lightweight, mobile-first pages that load in under 1.5 seconds, ensuring that users clicking from LinkedIn or Facebook on mobile devices don’t bounce due to slow load times.
- UI/UX for Trust: Given EEPC’s role as a government-sponsored body, the design was developed to be authoritative, clean, and professional, utilizing “trust signals” like official certifications and member count statistics.
Phase 3: Lead Management & CRM Integration
To ensure the leads generated from Google and LinkedIn didn’t get lost, we developed a seamless backend workflow.
- Automated Lead Capture: We created custom API integrations that push data from the website’s lead forms directly into the client’s internal database or email marketing software.
- Validation Logic: We developed server-side validation to filter out spam or low-quality leads, ensuring the EEPC team only spends time on genuine engineering trade inquiries.
Phase 4: Multi-Channel PPC Execution
With the technical foundation built, we launched a synchronized offensive across three major platforms:
- Google Ads (Search): Developed high-intent keyword lists targeting global buyers looking for Indian engineering exports.
- LinkedIn Ads (B2B): Targeted decision-makers, CEOs, and procurement officers in specific global industries (Automotive, Mining, Energy, etc.).
- Facebook Ads (Retargeting): We developed a retargeting loop to stay top-of-mind for users who visited the site but hadn’t yet completed an inquiry.
Phase 5: Data-Driven Refinement (A/B Testing)
Development didn’t stop at launch. We used a “Live Lab” approach:
- Heatmap Analysis: We used tools to see where users were clicking or getting stuck on the landing pages.
- Iterative Coding: We continuously tweaked the page layouts—moving buttons, changing headlines, and shortening forms—based on actual user behavior data to lower the Cost Per Lead (CPL).
The Results
By integrating professional web development with aggressive PPC management, the Linked Builder Team transformed eepcindia.org into a global lead-generation machine.
